South Main Designs offers a line of fashionable jewelry for men, women and teens, utilizing a direct sales approach with independent Sales Consultants selling product through home parties or catalog orders.

South Main Designs is newer in the direct sales industry, launching its first collection in 2006. However, the parent company has been designing and manufacturing jewelry and accessories for over 16 years as a preferred supplier to many of the most well known and highly respected fashion retailers in the apparel and accessories industry.

All orders are shipped directly to the individual customer’s door, so there are no delivery requirements by the hostess or Sales Consultant. An online ordering system allows the Sales Consultants to place orders with no paperwork to send in to the company. No training or mandatory meetings required, you learn as you go. Keep immediate profits from personal sales and earn commissions by adding Sales Consultants to your downline.

40% of retail is kept as immediate profit by the Sales Consultant. Additional commission of 5% to 10% wholesale can be earned on downline Sales Consultants’ sales, paid to the Sales Consultant monthly.

$150 to $500, depending on kit choice

What is included with the kit?

Business Kits include a Business Guide which walks a Sales Consultant through the entire program, varying amounts of jewelry for display or personal use, initial supply of catalogs, order forms, party invitations, and all necessary business materials. Kits’ retail values are between $440 and $1,500.

Is there an option to earn your kit?

Yes.  South Main Designs offers a Free Business Kit Program to all Sales Consultants.  Through this program, South Main Designs has eliminated the initial upfront costs to starting a home-based business.  By simply achieving a retail sales commitment in a Sales Consultant’s first 90 days of business, she keeps her kit absolutely FREE! 

Can you earn trips, vehicles, etc?

South Main Designs’ Leadership and Compensation Plan, updated in 2008, includes the opportunity to earn many incentives and rewards including FREE jewelry with each new collection, dream travel, cash bonuses, and more.

Are there monthly minimums that must be sold to stay active?

No minimums to stay active. There is a small requirement to earn downline commissions.

How often are new catalogs released?

South Main Designs releases two collections of accessories each year – Spring/Summer in March and Fall/Winter in September.

What is the cost for supplies (order forms, catalogs, samples)?

Samples can be purchased at 60% off of the retail value. Catalogs are $1 each, and most other forms and invitations are an average of .10 each.

Are there any online advertising restrictions?

In order to use the company logo or other trademarked items, a Sales Consultant must first gain approval from the company.

Are consultants able to get their own company website?

Not at this time, but we will offer this feature in the future.

Can customers place orders online using your company website?

Individual customers cannot place orders online. Customers are referred to their nearest Sales Consultant.

How do consultants place orders?

Sales Consultants place orders through our online ordering system if possible. If they do not have internet access, it is also acceptable to mail or fax orders.

How can products be sold?

We encourage our Sales Consultants to think outside of the box when approaching their businesses.  In addition to taking individual orders and holding catalog and in-home parties, our current Sales Consultants display and sell at beauty salons, church bazaars, craft fairs, local festivals, office building lobbies, break rooms at work, and many more locations.  The only current restriction is that Sales Consultants not sell their accessories through a non-company sponsored website.
